The organiser is not a travel agency under Act No. 170/2018 Coll. on package travel and linked travel services. The organiser provides movement, educational, and leisure activities and arranges accommodation and program elements for a closed group of participants.
1. Nature of activities
The association organises community, educational, and movement-based events and retreats (hereinafter referred to as “events”), which may include yoga, pilates, surfing, hiking, running, workshops, seminars, and community gatherings in Slovakia and abroad.
These events have a community, educational, and recreational character and do not constitute package travel or services of a travel agency or tour operator.
2. Participation and membership
Participation in selected events is available to members of the association.
By submitting an application for an event, the participant may simultaneously apply for membership in the association.
Membership becomes valid upon approval by the relevant body of the association and payment of the membership contribution, if applicable.
3. Formation of a binding agreement
By submitting an application, the participant expresses a binding interest in attending the event.
A binding reservation is created upon payment of a deposit or the full event price according to the organiser’s instructions.
4. Price and payment terms
The indicative price of the event is stated on the organiser’s website for each specific event.
The final participation price may be adjusted, particularly with regard to discount codes, deduction of membership contributions, or individually agreed conditions.
The binding participation price is stated in the confirmation email and the deposit invoice issued by the organiser.
The participant is required to pay a deposit of 50% of the confirmed event price within the deadline specified in the downpayment invoice.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the event, unless agreed otherwise.
Failure to pay the remaining balance within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation of the reservation by the organiser without entitlement to compensation.
Cancellation Policy is provided separately and forms an integral part of Participation Terms & Conditions. They are available on the organiser’s website here.
5. Transport and travel formalities
Unless expressly stated otherwise, participants arrange transport to the event location individually and at their own responsibility.
Participants are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations, and meeting entry requirements of the destination country.
6. Local suppliers
Certain services (such as accommodation, catering, sports activities, rentals, or local transport) may be provided by independent local suppliers.
The association is not responsible for the quality or delivery of such services to the extent that it cannot influence them.
7. Program and changes
The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, location, or instructors due to circumstances beyond its control or organisational reasons.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for withdrawal or refund.
8. Risks and health condition
Participation in events is voluntary and at the participant’s own responsibility.
Participants confirm that their health condition allows them to take part in movement and sports activities.
Certain activities, particularly surfing, hiking in nature, or water sports, involve an increased risk of injury, which participants acknowledge.
The association is not liable for injuries or health complications resulting from failure to follow instructions given by organisers or instructors.
9. Insurance
For events held abroad, participants are required to arrange their own travel insurance covering sports activities.
The association is not responsible for costs arising from medical incidents, repatriation, or trip cancellation.
10. Exclusion from the event
The organiser has the right to exclude a participant from the event without refund if the participant:
• seriously violates instructions given by organisers or instructors
• endangers the safety of the group
• disrupts the course of the event
• acts contrary to good conduct
11. Cancellation of the event by the organiser
The organiser may cancel an event particularly due to:
• insufficient number of participants
• force majeure
• serious organisational obstacles
In such cases, the paid amount will be refunded or an alternative date will be offered.
12. Force majeure
Force majeure includes, in particular, natural disasters, political events, epidemics, pandemic measures, actions by public authorities, flight cancellations, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
In cases of force majeure, the organiser is not liable for the inability to deliver the program as planned.
13. Personal data processing
Participants’ personal data are processed solely for the purposes of organising events and association activities in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
14. Final provisions
These terms are binding for all participants in events organised by the association.
These terms are provided in Slovak and English.
In case of any discrepancies between language versions, the Slovak version shall prevail and be legally binding.
